“This is not a common way that we would deliver a pool, but it was the only way to get the pool to the homeowner’s backyard,” says Tim. “We had never done it before, so there were concerns.” The pool was dropped off at Eptings Landing, a loading and unloading site for boats, and other aquatic equipment. The pool shell was then meet by a pontoon boat, where it was carefully attached with rope to be pulled.
“The concern with floating the pool was that we needed to keep it in calm waters,” explains Tim, “It was important to keep the pool level, and because of the pool buoyancy on the water, it didn’t cause much of a problem.” The pool was then floated a half a mile to the homeowner’s personal dock, where it was then attached to a crane to be lifted from the water.
“After we got the pool on land, it was a quick installation process. It took a day to get the pool delivered, floated and in the ground,” explains Tim. “The homeowners showed some concern with this delivery process, but were relieved once the pool was in the ground.”
